Creedmoor Maha Water Supply Corporation (CMWSC) was created in 1965 with 150 connections. Since then we have grown to 2,484 household and business connections. CMWSC is a member-owned water utility and provides 240,000,000 gallons of safe, reliable drinking water a year to almost a population of 10,000. Located just south of Austin, TX, CMWSC is a rural water utility that manages 134 miles of water pipelines spanning 56 square miles of service area. The members we serve live in parts of Austin, Buda, and Dale, TX. We are committed to our members’ welfare and do our best to ensure that you have the quality of life that you and your family need to flourish and be healthy.

Commitment to Affordability

At Creedmoor Maha WSC, it is absolutely our number one priority and mission to maintain the lowest possible cost for services to our Creedmoor-Maha members while ensuring the delivery of clean and high quality drinking water. Every day we strive to  maintain the lowest possible cost to our members while meeting the recurring and increasing financial obligations of fixing and preventing line breaks and equipment failures, and other infrastructure maintenance costs of operating and maintaining our pipelines and infrastructure.

The ways in which we try our best to keep costs low is by:

• Reinvesting approximately 90 percent of revenue received from members for their purchased water and services into the cost of maintaining operations. The remaining 10 percent of the revenue is targeted for infrastructure maintenance and/or replacement and improving our operation.  Creedmoor-Maha does not realize a profit from the sales of water or services. All revenue received is applied to the operation and maintenance of the Water Supply Corporation.
• Reviewing financials during monthly board meetings to ensure that funds are effectively and efficiently utilized with the goal of keeping costs manageable. As you know, members are encouraged to attend these meetings where we openly share all our revenue, expenditures and projected costs of future water infrastructure improvement projects.
• Providing breaks and payment plans whenever a member has demonstrated financial difficulty. We really do care and try our best to provide for our community within our budget constraints.
• Utilizing the low interest loan from the Texas Water Development Board to replace major pipelines that are 50 years old and due for change. Fixing and replacing our community’s water pipelines is a major and expensive fete, and this is the time to upgrade because if we don’t, the cost will only be greater in the future and it will be a burden our children will have to carry.

  Brindar descansos y planes de pago siempre que un miembro tenga dificultades financieras. Realmente nos importa y hacemos todo lo posible para proporcionar a nuestra comunidad dentro de nuestras limitaciones presupuestarias.
• Utilizando el préstamo de bajo interés de la Junta de Desarrollo del Agua de Texas para reemplazar las principales tuberías que tienen 50 años y que están sujetas a cambios. Arreglar y reemplazar las tuberías de agua de nuestra comunidad es un proceso enorme y costoso, y este es un momento de actualización porque si lo hacemos, el costo solo será mayor en el futuro y será una carga que nuestros hijos tendrán que cargar.
